Many people have asked about this. Blogger has a Followers gadget that many people love and Typepad users wanted. Now you can have it to!!!!
- From your Dashboard, for the desired blog, go to Design.
- Then click on Content.
- Then from the middle, top box, choose Follow Me.
- On the right click Add This Module (button).
- It will then be added to the top left sidebar the majority of the time if using a three column layout.
- Now you can drag and drop it where you would like in the layout.
- Click Save.
And you're done.
So, can Blogger people follow typepad people without having to create a typepad follow me login? I mean, they are interfollowable? This is the only reason I hadn’t put up a typepad follow me, because I knew very few typepaders and wasn’t sure if bloggers would be able to follow a typepad follow me. Interested to know, thanks!
Great!..thanks for this post!…am glad I can add the ‘follow me’ widget in typepad..thanks for sharing it to evreyone.
i think this is great! love to follow some people in typepad too. yay! now, it’s easy for me to see their updates! cool!
Okay, so I may be late to the party and have been looking for how to add this for some time. It took several people asking to follow me for me to find out how to do this. Thanks for your help.
Hi Heather,
Thanks for this ‘manual’. It is clear and helpful. But I am looking for the follow-me-box like you have, with te nice, round symbols of LinkedIn en Twitter, so people can follow me on Twitter, LinkedIn and maybe Facebook. They don’t have to follow me on Typepad. How can I do that? Do you know that too?
Already my thanks beforehand!

Hi Jalada!
If you want a Follow Me sidebar widget like I have, it is basically two pictures (one of Twitter, one of Facebook) and each picture is “linked” to my Twitter and Facebook Pages:
You can copy and paste the code above into: Design->Content, in the middle box at the top, scroll and select “Embed Your Own HTML” and click Add This Module button on the right.
Then paste in this code above using your Twitter and Facebook addresses.
Save. and you’re done.
Let me know 😀
Love it kool stuff
