I am blessed to have many great business associates and partners. Amy Celona of Webs By Amy (www.WebsByAmy.com) is one of them who specializes in WordPress, WordPress hosting, and graphic design. Here is her portfolio and testimonials.

She also shares a lot with her customers with one-on-one training, detailed videos and more.  In addition, she shares many free tips and videos on her site. Many want to know if there is a free photo editing software they can use.

I have used FastStone for some light editing, resizing and watermarking (see tutorial here), but she really likes and recommends Paint.net. I will check this out as it can open Photoshop files…that's a pretty cool plug-in!

Amy's thoughts:

I have embraced Paint.net as my new 'free photo editor' of choice over Gimp. The videos below are for the purpose of giving you a free alternative for editing your photos for the fastest viewing quality for the web as well as shows you how to watermark your work. I have found Paint easier to install and use immediately. And recently I have found that there are plugins that will add functionality, such as one that allows editing of Photoshop .psd files and another one that allows Paint.net to use Photoshop brushes.

Click here to install Paint.Net, edit and watermark a photo.

Enjoy!
