Tip #44: Use polls to get feedback

In a previous post, we discussed using a survey to get feedback from your customers andr readers.  Another tool is a poll. Poll data is also valuable and fun too!  A poll is a little different from a survey as it's more like a "voting" mechnanism and most just ask one question; such as "What blogging platform do you use?"  Then the options available may be Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, WordPress.com (free), Tumbler, Other.  And then the followers would submit their answer and would then see percentage or a graph-like display of how many others have responded and what percentages of them are using which platforms.

You would choose a question relevant to your business.  Again, it's fun. I normally participate in polls that I see on other sites 😀  And it does give you, the blog owner, valuable feedback. You can then use that feedback to alter or improve your strategies, services, focus, etc.

Two that I recommend are (free too):

Enjoy and have a great weekend!
